Healing with Horseradish

Of course you’ve heard of horseradish, but have you used it with intention and therapeutically? You have probably placed horseradish the spice category in your mind, but it has a long tradition of being used for culinary purposes and as medicine for infections and respiratory conditions. Let’s remember that our kitchen is our pharmacy, so don’t underestimate the power of our culinary herbs!

In this video, I’ll teach you about the many benefits of horseradish. It opens your sinuses, makes you sweat, and does so much more. You’ll also get a hearty laugh watching me - burning eyes, sweat dripping and all - prepare horseradish in two ways: tinctured and lacto-fermented.

We hope you enjoy this video, feel inspired and equipped to incorporate more horseradish into your herbal practice, and if nothing else, have a good laugh!

With joy,
Selima & Tami
