Do you need to be certified in order to be an herbalist? People ask me this question all the time. And it's an important one because as an herbalist you're helping people with their health without a medical license. đł
I decided to record a short video in which I go into detail on the 4 things you need to know about herbal certification and the education you need that will help you choose the path that's most aligned with you. You want to make sure you're learning the right skills, choosing the right community to learn and flourish in, and working with integrity. In the video I explain in detail what's most important as you embark on this path (and what to look for if you're considering working with an herbalist).

Check out the full video here. If you know someone who would like this info, forward this video to them. And Tami and I would love it if you liked and subscribed to our YouTube channel. We're going to be more intentional about putting content that's encouraging and helpful to you on this platform.Â
With love,

If your anxiety isnât responding to the usual advice meditation, exercise, journaling itâs not because youâre doing it wrong. Itâs because your body may be asking for something deeper. For Black women especially, anxiety often shows up in ways that arenât always understood by mainstream medicine: tightness in the chest, knots in the gut, spiraling thoughts that wake you at 3 a.m. Youâre not weak. Youâre not broken. Your nervous system is trying to protect you.
