Lactofermentation | Healthy & Simple

Do you want an inexpensive dietary change that improves your gut health and immunity and reduces inflammation? Don’t worry, this isn’t yet another gimmicky miracle solution or fad diet. This dietary change has been practiced by every culture since antiquity and it’s called fermentation.

From beverages and cereals to condiments, fruits, vegetables and even meats, fermenting has been practiced around the world to preserve food and improve its flavor, digestibility and nutritional value.

And the science has finally caught up with what we know to be true: that eating more lactofermented foods helps alleviate, correct, and prevent a plethora of health issues. By eating more lactofermented foods we improve our gut microbiome, which is the foundation of our immunity.

In this short video, I share how lactofermentation works, why it works, and give you the run-down of over 15 health conditions it can help alleviate. I also demonstrate how to make a few quick recipes with ingredients and equipment you likely have in your kitchen right now.

Happy fermenting
