The popularity of elderberry has exploded in recent years. It has a long history of being revered by herbalists as an herb that supports respiratory infections like colds, sinus infections many different strains of influenzas.

Clinical research and trials have caught up with what are ancestors knew about Elder, that it shortens the duration and severity of infection. It’s comparable, if not more effective in some cases than pharmaceutical antivirals, but without the side effects! Who wouldn’t want that? This likely explains elder’s explosive popularity and why you see elder products everywhere!
