Immunity Broth Recipe

Boost your bone broth recipe by adding immunity and liver healing herbs

With winter and the holidays approaching it is the perfect time to starting thinking about making your own stock. This is our base recipe for homemade, nutrient-rich beef and chicken broth, which is healthier, tastier and way more filling than store-bought stock.

The addition of roots and 'shroom, Astragalus, Burdock, Dandelion and Reishi help support your immunity, improve liver function and much more. While medicinal (as are all herbs and spices), they are mild tasting, yet add to the recipe by rounding out the flavor profile.

We even use this broth during our bi-annual 7 Day Fast & Energetic Cleanse to help us maintain nutrition and energy throughout the liquids-only phase. Stay tuned for more details on that!

TIP: Freeze the broth in ice cube trays or muffin tins for convenience and to pop cubes into any recipe that requires a little stock. I always have several cubes on deck in the freezer.
